We aim to think environmental responsibility is related to life cycle and product's longevity in the first place. Therefore, we only source top quality components, trusted for their strength, longevity and tracability, from fabric down to thread.

Quality & authenticity

All bags are handmade, so none are absolutely flawless. Nevertheless, the human hands and eyes remain the only true path to quality. Our bags are therefore produced in small batches, by craftsmen working hand in hand with designers, constantly on the lookout for small improvements. With one goal: to make the best bags possible.

Transparency & Price

Transparency and fair price are prerequisite: every bag is localy crafted and the main revenue goes to sewing hands. Sturdy materials are mainly sourced in Europe, Germany, Belgium, even swiss cow leather veg tanned inland, in Thun.

WHY ANOTHER BAG BRAND?

Backpack is an old time companion and the first self-made models come right out the 80's. Doing one seriously popped up while looking for a special daypack and not finding the exact right one.

WHAT'S THAT BAG?

Design is anchored in everyday life and real needs, built up through real tough situations testing. And some basic common-sense options, like a reliable and convenient closing system and adjustment.

THE PURPOSE

We are not pretending to design the ultimate bags, but we are convinced Le-Zigzag can achieve performances others won't in some usual situations. Like adding some fragile items on top of a loaded bag without breaking it. Or dealing with winter stuff with kids... Always keeping to our moto: stick to real needs.

THE PRODUCTION

All of our products are manufactured in-house in Switzerland in small batches with a constant quality control. We just want to make the best possible bags.
